This workshop will guide you through the process of creating a customized resume and cover letter tailored to your target profession and help you strategically organize and present your skills, experiences, and achievements to create a powerful narrative.泭

July 11, 2:30-4pm

This virtual "Ask Me Anything" event is your chance to connect informally with professionals from a variety of organizations in the accounting and finance world.泭 Whether your curious about career paths, industry trends, or how to make the most of your education, this is a relaxed and open space to get real answers from real professionals.

July 29, 10:30-11:30am

This workshop will guide you through how to prepare for meaningful and effective conversations at networking events.泭 You'll learn what to do before, during, and after an event - from introducing yourself and asking practical questions to following up with employers and maintaining connections.

August 27, 1-4:30pm

Looking for a 2026 co-op or articling position?泭 Meet top employers in small group settings at this in-person event.泭 Learn about career opportunities, ask questions, and make meaningful connections - all in one afternoon.

Are you internationally educated and looking to continue your accounting career in Canada?泭 Join this free info session for internationally trained professionals in accounting and finance.泭 Learn about CPA program admission requirements, career benefits, BC's economic outlook, and newcomer employment resources.

Special guest: , a Canadian charity offering low-interest microloans to help skilled newcomers to cover licensing and credentialing costs.

July 17, 12-12:30pm

Have questions about the CPA Practical Experience Requirements (PER)? Join our free 30-minute Q&A session with CPABC staff- designed for prospective CPA learners not yet enrolled in the CPA PEP.泭 This session will focus on pre-submitted, and live audience questions.

Note: No formal CPA program review will be provided during the session.泭 Please watch the video before attending.

Are you a post-secondary student interested in becoming a CPA after you graduate?泭 This session will cover the CPA program in detail and include an open Q&A with CPABC's Student Recruitment Officer.泭 This session will be tailored to post-secondary students interested in becoming a CPA, and is open to students from any university of college program.

  • CPAEF bursaries and scholarships
    Every year CPAEF offers a bursary program to BC students based on financial need with two deadlines to apply each year: May 15 and November 15. Scholarships are also available to students attending one of eleven BC post-secondary institutions that do not have named awards: applications are due May 1.
