Award description

This award is to provide financial assistance to an outstanding female music student entering into the second-year of the Diploma in Music Performance at 51.

Criteria

Student must:

  • be enrolled in the Music Performance program during the current offering or academic calendar year
  • be a female, entering second-year
  • Preference will be given to piano, but may be awarded to an instrumental or vocal performer
  • The award is based on performance excellence and satisfactory academic standing
  • Preference will be given to a Victoria or British Columbia student
  • The recipient will be chosen by the Artistic Directorate at the Victoria Conservatory of Music with advice of the music faculty.
